KHT Services Team
KHT Services is led by a Board specifically appointed to reflect the skills and expertise required to take our business forward and to provide our customers with the services they need.
The Board is supported by Executive Directors and key staff who have a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise within the housing and maintenance sectors.
The KHT Services team also includes our Business Development Manager, Sharon Steele, who was appointed in October 2007 to enable us to further improve our customer relationship management and to grow our business. Our Unique Offering
At KHT Services, we believe that we are uniquely placed to work in partnership with our customers due to the added value which we can bring to, and demonstrate in, the services we deliver.
- High quality, customer focused services is at the core of our ethos and we have a wealth of knowledge and experience of delivering services for social housing customers. This experience includes working with, and supporting, customers in their own homes and ensuring that our services are tailored to their individual requirements. All our staff are trained in customer care, equality and diversity and in working with vulnerable customers to enable us to respond to their needs.
- We are able to demonstrate objective evidence of the quality of our delivery, having been through an independent Audit Commission inspection in 2007, during which we achieved a ‘two star’ good service rating with ‘promising prospects for improvement’. In addition, we have a thorough improvement plan in place, which we commenced implementing after the inspection, to enable us to act on the feedback and achieve a ‘three star’ and ‘excellent’ service.
- Our motivation is not to generate commercial profit but to invest any surpluses we make into community projects and initiatives. Because of this we are always keen to talk with our customers on larger projects about partnering arrangements and ways in which we can generate efficiency savings together, which can be jointly shared and used to benefit the communities in which we work.
